Pushing my blonde hair back

Photobucket

If life is so predictable, where will all the fun go?

Didn't think i will update so quickly. But there's this something i went through and i just have to let it out.

Went to parkway today and then this thing made me think through so much. What exactly is happening to us now? The human race. Shouldn't we be the ones with feelings? The ones who care and help one another despite the fact that we might be strangers? Then why is it that we have not done that at all?

I was in the lift today. And then an Indian lady and a Malay maid (i suppose she is one) were both pushing those big trolleys. This Indian lady was standing near the button for the lift, and then we went in following by the Malay maid. I simply have no idea how that Indian lady can completely ignore me saying 'Fifth storey' for at least 3 times in a row. And in the end the Malay maid had to help me press. And then the Indian lady had to exit at the 3rd floor. She was trying to find a way out but then the Malay maid didn't want to shift so the two trolleys were stuck. And then cause we were stuck too far away from the buttons, we couldn't help them press, so the lift doors kept closing on them. And then this lady standing outside were staring at all this going on. Yes what the hell. Can't she just help? She was folding her arms all along. I was so pissed i remembered myself exclaiming loudly ' Why can't she press the button for them? '

Is that how the world is now? How we just ignore each other? How we just stand by and see others struggle in trouble? Is that what is happening right now? They are from the previous generation. The generation that is supposedly better and more well-mannered than us. But what i saw is the complete opposite. I saw how they just completely ignore those who needs help and give no respect for one another. I saw how that lady act nonchalant even when i commented on her actions so loudly. That was such a disgrace on herself.

And then the other time, i was on the train. And there's this empty seat in front of me. I wanted to take that seat, but i saw another old auntie boarding the train, so i gave the seat up to her. But as she was moving towards the seat, this f a t uncle in his 40s came up and wanted to snatch the seat. And when he 'lost' he was cursing the old auntie under his breath and he still dare to stare at me several times.

Just another example on how people disrespect the older generations. It just doesn't make any sense to me how someone can take the seat ignoring the senior citizens that can't even balance well in the train. Seeing their frail body and yet you are still sitting there. It just embarrasses me a lot.

Perhaps we should all do something to our actions. Maybe we should all start giving more care and concern to those around us. Maybe we should stop living in our own world. Maybe we should be less selfish and self-centered. Maybe then, our world will be a much better place to live in.
